一年前，某山村医院的女医生和江在山路中撞倒一名全身赤裸的美丽女子，令她惊讶的是该女子竟与院长死去的女儿一模一样。她尾随着女孩在山路间穿行，最终见到生平最为恐怖的一幕。一年后，和江迎来了两名公共安全课警察的拜访，从对方口中得知，自明治时代以来就有一个名叫富江的美丽女子存在，她所到之处总会引起情感纠纷，最终她必定会为争夺她的男人杀害，亦或是引起男人们的嫉妒厮杀。恐怖的是，无论死状多么凄惨恐怖，富江都会再次活转，而且她尸体的每一部分都会单独繁殖出一个新的富江，接下来便是新一轮的死亡轮回。公安相信和江一年前撞倒的女孩就是富江的分身，而目前住在医院失忆女子业和富江有着些许的联系。恐怖的故事由此上演……本片根据日本著名恐怖漫画家伊藤润二的同名系列漫画改编。收起
